1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CareerOS ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including free users, solo subscribers, and organisation members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CareerOS. By signing in, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Accounts & Access
You access CareerOS via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without their explicit permission. CareerOS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions & Tokens
Solo plans are one-time purchases valid for 6 months. Enterprise plans are governed by a separate annual contract and order form.
Token allocations are consumed when you use AI features (resume parsing, job matching, cover letters, interview prep, diagnostics). Unused tokens do not roll over after a plan period ends. CareerOS may adjust token allocations for future plans with reasonable notice.
All payments are processed manually by our team pending online checkout integration. Subscriptions are non-refundable once activated unless required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use CareerOS to generate misleading, fraudulent, or plagiarised content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform
- Upload malicious files or content that violates third-party intellectual property rights
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Platform
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit outputs without written permission
- Share access credentials or enable unauthorised access to paid features
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
CareerOS uses large language models to generate insights, match scores, cover letters, and other content. AI outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional career, legal, or financial advice. CareerOS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for how you use it.
7. Intellectual Property
CareerOS and its content, branding, and underlying technology are owned by CareerOS Technologies. You retain full ownership of the documents and career data you upload. By uploading content, you grant CareerOS a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to deliver the service to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareerOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including lost job opportunities, missed interviews, or career outcomes. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account from within the Platform or by emailing hello@careeros.in. CareerOS may terminate your account immediately for material breach of these terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of CareerOS after that date constitutes acceptance.
